Thought I’d share some views from our apartment window on our first day of snow this year. We don’t usually get snow here.

Is it unusual for you to get snow?
Yes, we rarely see snow here and I’ve never seen it stay on the ground since I’ve been here from 2003. It’s been a strange month for weather. They got tons of snow up the coast from here. They were having to dig out of their houses. It was pretty while it lasted.
It seems that the snow is relentless this year both here in North America and abroad…and the rain in the UK. Here’s hoping for some sunshine!
That’s right! World weather is going pretty crazy!
Looks very familiar. We’ve had record breaking snowfalls here in Ohio. I think it’s been a blanket of white ALL winter!
Very beautiful “winter” photos.
Thank you for visiting. I loved your photos in Finland too.
Great photos!
[off topic – if you don’t mind me asking, one of my readers asked about the Thunderbird underground railroad in North Korea and its location – do you happen to know anything about this? Also – Congrats to your woman’s hockey team for winning the gold medal yesterday!]
Thanks! Yep, we’re proud of our woman’s hockey team!
Sorry, I’ve never heard of the railroad. I’m in Busan and I’m sorry to say I’m not very knowledgeable about the North Korean stuff. If you find out something let me know please. I’m trying to learn more about our mysterious northern neighbors and their terrible circumstances.
Will do, I’ve asked others about the RR too.
