Walking in Korea – Part 2

Some photos from my walking paths in Jang-yu district of Kimhae City near Busan. We lived here in 2005. They had a great selection of trails along the river and throughout the town.

  1. wow – You made me cry – I remember this location so well. Jangyu is also the name for a myeon, or township – like administrative area, where the city is being developed. There has been rapid development in this area since the year 2000 approximately because of pressure on nearby cities

    • Oh Mihran! you know Jangyu?? I can’t believe you know this small area. Yes, I know the term myeon 🙂 I am so happy to hear you area aware of this area. I know Jangyu is a suburb of Changwon and definitely has a flavour of its own.
Cheers Mihran! Thank you as always for your comments. It’s great to hear your feedback.

    • Yes it does seem a little strange looking at those pictures. It’s hard to relate to it from here now. We talk about Korea all the time, but it’s strange to be here for sure. I’m glad you enjoyed the walk and I certainly did too. It’s fun to look at the photos of where we’ve lived in Korea. 🙂

    • Thank you for your feedback. I didn’t really think about those different aspects, but I can see that now. Thanks for pointing that out and I’m happy you liked the photos. Yes, Kimhae City is a beautiful place. I’d love to live there again sometime. Cheers!
