    • Yes, Songjeong beach is a very pretty beach and a little out of the busy part of Busan. Korea has some very distinctive shoreline rock formations. I enjoyed reviewing these photos taken in 2003. Wow, more than 10 years ago now……… 🙂

    • Hi Hugh:-)
Thank you for your comment. You’re right, the beaches in Korea are all very clean. I never really thought about that, but now that you mention it I realized that’s the case. The streets very often are not, but they do a good job of keeping the sand clean. Actually, overall, Korea is doing a much better job of keeping things clean these days.

      • I’ve always though Korea as a clean country, much like Japan. From what I have heard, Tokyo does not even have litter bins so everyone takes their rubbish home. The sea in your photos looks crystal clear but cold, but I guess that’s great on hot days.

      • Korea is on its way to becoming more like Japan. There’s still some room for improvement, but it’s very different from when we first went there in 2001. You’re right, the water does look clean and clear. I think they’ve made great strides in making Busan a beautiful city!
