North Korea – No Freedom of Speech

Criticism of the regime or the leadership in North Korea, if reported, is enough to make you and your family ‘disappear’ from society and end up in a political prison camp. It goes without saying that there is no free media inside the country. The only opinion allowed to be voiced inside the country is the regime’s.

      • Yeah, for example, in my military training we were told to do funny/outlandish things. At the time, it seemed all normal. Now, I laugh somtimes.

      we had the same hope, but it certainly got blown away quickly. It’s so disgusting given that he was educated over seas and knows what’s out there, yet he hardens his heart just as his forefathers did. It never ceases to amaze me how power and control can such strong motivations for the cruelest behavior. I sure hope for Cuba to be able to move into freedom! Thanks for your comment:-)

    • It’s darkness versus the light. You’re right, South Korea has done nothing but prosper since the division of the two Koreas. They have worked so hard to get it! Thanks for commenting Carl:-)
